Taste directors Sam Marchant and Jamie Bennett believe that events don't just happen by accident, they are created by excellent design, attention to detail, and most importantly understanding the clients needs, therefore ensuring your expectations are exceeded.
Jamie Bennett
Professionally trained in Christchurch, Jamie has worked in a variety of cafes, restaurants and catering companies globally.
The establishment of Taste Catering is a result of his twelve years experience in Europe and New Zealand. Jamie is hands on in all aspects of the company and takes great pride in the product from conception to realisation.
Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the inspiration behind Jamie's menu designs; he sources our country's finest quality products and endeavours to create contemporary sophisticated food.
Sam Marchant
Sam trained as a chef in New Zealand, and extended his craft in Australia and England. In the course of his travels Sam was exposed to a variety of international cuisines and gained culinary skills and further insight into the hospitality industry.
Sam continues to extend his craft with the endless array of top quality ingredients available in Canterbury and New Zealand. It is Sam's passion for food that drives him to succeed.
